It is interesting to note that sustenance in the Qur'an does not always refer to worldly sustenance or the ability to provide for our bodily needs. Although many verses mention this type of rizq, Allah also talks about spiritual rizq. In Sūrat Hūd verses 87 and 88, Nabī Shu'ayb (a) talks about the sustenance he has received.
Rizq means provision or sustenance. It originally means 'Ataa' (that which is given). Lisaan Al-ʻArab defines it as follows, " Rizq denotes whatever is of benefit. Plural: Arzaaq. Rizq is whatever is given; as in saying: Allah gave so-and-so Rizq. " Allah says (what means): { Eat and drink from the Rizq (provision) of Allah
Be Grateful to Allah ⢠One should always feel grateful to Allah for the blessing or rizq given to us. ⢠Blessed by Allah always as well as a mean in increasing more rizq in the future.
